Overview
This short 2D animated explainer video uses humor and a fast pace to introduce the viewer to the importance of getting the right type of auto insurance coverage for their needs.
Problem
Often auto insurance customers don’t have a clear understanding of their own auto insurance policy coverage. Auto insurance agent Rob DeGennaro, wanted a way to introduce this topic in an engaging way online, before he met with clients face to face.
Solution
I proposed a fast-paced introductory animated video. Using the auto insurance Declaration Page as the foundation of the video, an auto insurance agent character guides the viewer on an overview of different coverage types. He points out the benefits and consequences of having or not having adequate insurance.
Design and Development Process
I worked closely with Rob, my subject matter expert, to pinpoint the most important information to overview. I then did research online to get specific definitions and details on the different types of coverage. Together we developed the script and I created a visual storyboard.
I then developed the animation in Vyond animation software. I used Speechelo software to create the text-to-speech AI narrator voice.

Presenting this informative animation to business clients and peers, confirmed my belief that presenting technical information in a fun, light format, enhances learning through enjoyment.
